Batman is my favorite DC superhero, hands down. I don't read the comics very often, due to the sheer magnitude of them. However, I keep up with the wikipedia/wikias so that I know what is going on.
I was first introduced to Batman through the TV show starring Adam West back when it would air on Saturday mornings on TV Land (Yes, I'm that old.). About seven to eight years later, I started watching Batman: the Animated Series; just as many people have a Doctor (Doctor Who for you old people), I now consider Kevin Conroy to be my Batman.
Later, when Christopher Nolan's Batman debuted, I found it to be very enjoyable and pretty accurate, but still loved BtAS more.
Confession: when the clip of Rob Paulson (Gordon of BtAS) and Kevin Conroy doing the last scene from The Dark Knight released, I may or may not have watched it upwards of fifteen times...
Fast forward four years, and we get Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice...
...Yeah. I'm not going to go into the BvS argument because this intro is already way too long, but suffice it to say that I found Affleck to be an ok, though slightly older, Bruce/Batman.
So when I saw that there was going to be a YA novel based in the DCEU, I was intrigued. When I saw that it was going to be written by Marie Lu, I was so excited that I pre-ordered it from Amazon (which I N E V E R do).
This book was amazing, guys.

So Much More - The Bad

Welcome to the third and final part of my review of the book So Much More. This has been something I have been working on slowly for more than five years, so it's nice to finally be able to move on with my life.
I want to bring up something first. This is the part where I talk about what is bad in the book. I will not mince words, as some of these topics are awful and harmful to people.
I am not trying to say that the Botkin sisters are awful humans. I am not trying to say that the Botkin sisters are horrible people that want to destroy the world. I am not saying that the Botkin sisters are abusive Christians themselves.
Also, I am not trying to excuse their writings or beliefs in this book.
What I am saying is that the authors were young. What I am saying is that their writing is thinking that has been carried on in the church for hundreds of years, and that this thinking is wrong. What I am saying is that this thinking has led to many painful instances that could have been avoided and need to be stopped in the future as both bad theology and wrongly placed blame.
Or else we get to experience the "Debt-free Virgins Without Tattoos" that the Transformed Wife discusses. There's a lot of problems with that, but I'm not touching that with a ten-foot pole and better people have talked about how it's wrong.
With that being said, here are the bad things of So Much More.

GoScribbler March 2018 Box Unboxing - Emotional Touchpoints
Hi everyone! Today I'm going to be unboxing the first ever GoScribbler box.
GoScribbler is a monthly subscription box created by Lindsay Cummings and Victoria Scott that focuses on teaching writing from experienced authors. For the main focus of the box, you receive a writing passport that is written by a guest author that specializes on a specific part of writing. You also receive a book from the author of the passport of that month.This particular box's theme is "Emotional Touchpoints."
Pricing of the box itself is pretty good at a monthly rate of $29.99 (and a little less for 3 month and 6 month prices), but it's the shipping that gets you. The total for me, as someone who lives in Georgia USA, ended up being $36.98. However, I ended up getting a lot more things than I thought I would, so it was worth it for me.
Also, it's automatically renewed on the 28th of each month, so if you only want a few boxes a year, you have to go in and manually cancel and renew your order before then.
The company is located in Texas, so it originally was only going to be for residents of America, but it now can ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia!
They announce when orders are ending for the month, so keep an eye on their twitter page for when they open and close.

As a side note, the authors were 19 and 17 when this book was published, and it does show. (They do admit to their youthful idealism on their personal website, so that's another point in their favor.) When reading, it comes off as idealist, rigid, and full of "tips" for situations that they have never obviously never experienced.
